Why clean a mattress at all?
A mattress collects sweat, skin cells, body oils and dust mites every night, and it cannot be put in a washing machine. For allergy sufferers in particular, removing that buildup can make a noticeable difference, especially during Central Texas cedar and pollen seasons.
How long before I can sleep on it again?
Plan for the mattress to dry for several hours in a well ventilated room, with a fan running if possible. Cleaning it in the morning means it is ready by bedtime.

Can you remove urine from a mattress?
Odor and staining can usually be reduced. Old or repeated accidents may have soaked deep into the core, which limits what any cleaning can do.
Is mattress cleaning safe for memory foam?
Memory foam needs low-moisture handling so it is not saturated. The mattress type is checked first.
How often should a mattress be cleaned?
About once a year, along with using a washable protector between cleanings.
